How To Help Us

Change of Details
If you change your address, telephone number or personal details please let us know. This will help us to keep your records up to date and ensure that any letters or appointments are sent to the correct address. If you move outside the practice area you will need to find a new Doctor. If in doubt please contact the Practice Manager.

Complaints and Suggestions
We always try to provide the best service, but there may be times when you feel this has not happened or things could have been handled better. If you have any complaints, please contact the Practice Manager in person or in writing in the first instance.

The only way we can improve the quality of the services is by listening to your suggestions. Suggestions can be posted in the Repeat Prescriptions Box near to reception.

Patient information
All patient information is confidential and will not be discussed or released to outside agencies without prior written consent from the patient concerned.

Abusive/Violent Patients
The surgery operates a ‘Zero Tolerance Policy’. This means that we will not tolerate any patient who is physically or verbally abusive to the Doctors, Nurses or Administration Staff. Abusive patients will be asked to leave the premises and they may be removed from our patient list.

Test Results
Blood and urine tests are sent to the hospital for processing. When the results are returned to us they are checked by the doctors and you will be advised if any of your results are unusual in any way. If you have not heard from us and would like to know the results of your test, please leave it about 2 weeks before you contact us. This ensures the results will have been returned and checked. Our reception staff are only able to give out results to the patient concerned, and after they have been checked by the Doctor. Please phone after 3pm for your results.
